Beyoncé Launches Her First Fragrance: Beyoncé Heat

Beyoncé’s first fragrance, Beyoncé Heat, doesn’t arrive in stores until February, but the singer says her fans already love it — and she loves it, too! “I’m so happy with it,” the singer says. “I’ve been working on it for a while now. I was on tour for a year, and I have meet-and-greets with fans. I’ve never in my life gotten so many compliments. Coty has their own testing, but that was my testing! The fans loved it. They were like, ‘I love that, I’m getting that, why isn’t it out right now? I need it!” The singer took inspiration for the fragrance’s name from previous tours, explaining, “A lot of my performances have had fire involved, so we thought ‘Heat.’ Also, red is one of my favorite colors, as is gold.”

UK Newspaper Reports Kanye West To Marry Amber Rose

United Kingdom publication Daily Star has reported that rapper Kanye West will marry publicized girlfriend/supermodel Amber Rose in 2010.

The event is said to take place in the Caribean Islands sometime next year.

Kanye is reportedly planning on tying the knot with the former stripper sometime next year in the Caribbean. A friend told the Britain's Daily Star newspaper: "He has really bonded with her since losing his mother and needs another strong woman in his life." Apparently they're going to stay in a eight-bedroom villa in the Dominican Republic for the romantic occasion. The friend added, "He's very serious, otherwise he wouldn't be spending that much money on her." (Hollyscoop)

Lil Wayne Detained By Texas Border Patrol, Illegal Drug Usage Suspected

Grammy-winning rapper Lil Wayne has reportedly been detained by Texas Border Patrol during a routine check point.

Lil' Wayne is currently being detained at an interior border checkpoint in Texas, this according to a Border Patrol supervisor. The Border Patrol is not releasing details about the incident -- but we're told Wayne has not been arrested. We're told officials are still investigating. Officials tell us 11 other members of Wayne's entourage are also being detained. The incident went down in the city of Falfurrias -- roughly 100 miles from the Mexican border. Officials tell us a drug-sniffing K-9 unit picked up the scent outside the bus. Wayne and 11 members of his entourage are being detained at an internal B.P. checkpoint in southern Texas. We're told Lil' Wayne's concert tonight at the Laredo Entertainment Center in Laredo, TX. has been postponed. The general manager of the venue tells us they decided to cancel the show because Lil' Wayne didn't show and they couldn't get in touch with him or his people. (TMZ)

COMEDIAN SINBAD FILED FOR BANKRUPTCY....ALL HIS ASSETS ARE BEING SOLD

Popular 1980s comedian Sinbad has come upon hard times. Last week, he filed for BANKRUPTCY, claiming he owes up to $50 MILLION and has less than $50K in savings. Among the debts he owes is $8 million in back taxes.

But it gets worse, Sinbad's lawyers have petitioned to have HIS ASSETS AUCTIONED OFF orderly. Sinbad currently lives in a $1.5 million home in Los Angeles that the government claims he owns, even though it's in his brothers name.

Eminem "8 Mile" Co-Star Dies, Medical Complications Suspected

Brittany Murphy, the actress who starred alongside Eminem in 8 Mile, has died today after being found unconscious at home by her mother.

Details on her passing began to circulate online Sunday morning.

Brittany Murphy died of cardiac arrest early Sunday morning, after her mother had found her unconscious in the shower, according to a report by TMZ. The actress was 32. It is reported that a call went out to 911 from Murphy's Los Angeles home at 8 a.m. Attempts to revive her were not successful. A spokesperson for Cedars Sinai Medical Center confirmed to PEOPLE that Murphy died at the facility Sunday at 10:04 a.m. (People)
An exact cause of death has not yet been revealed.

Police sources emphasized that their inquiry was preliminary, adding they could not say whether it would point to any criminal conduct. L.A. city firefighters responded to "a medical request" at the home in the 1800 block of Rising Glen Road. Murphy was transported to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead. Kimora Lee Simmons has signed on to be a judge next season on Tyra's Americas Next Top Model. Since Tyra's franchise show is having the worst ratings ever this year I guess she's looking for Kimora to spice up things up on the show with her antics.

Emanuel Ungaro labels Lindsay Lohan’s Collection a “Disaster”

Emanuel Ungaro, founder of the fashion house which still bears his name, has publicly criticized Lindsay Lohan’s recent collection, European newspapers report.

On Monday evening, the 76-year old Ungaro told an audience at the Estoril film festival in Lisbon, Portugal on Monday, that the collection on which Lohan served as fashion consultant “was a disaster, I’m furious but there isn’t a thing I can do. I have absolutely no link with that house,” added Ungaro who sold his house to an investment fund in 2005.

Lohan was announced as Artistic Advisor to the house in September and less than a month later, presented her first collection designed in collaboration with Estrella Archs, who herself had only been named as the house’s designer at the end of July. At its showing in October, the Lohan/Archs collaboration was trashed by many critics, while the company itself supported their work,

JOE JACKSON LOOSES INHERITANCE CLAIM

As we all expected, Joe Jackson's dreams of inheriting Michael Jackson's money have been shut down! A Superior Court judge denied Joe the right to receive any of his late son's cash and he's not allowed to challenge the executors of Michael's will any longer.

"I don't think he gets to step into this and create further litigation," said the judge on Tuesday. "Joe Jackson takes none of this estate. This is a decision his son made."

Yesterday, J.Lo was granted a temporary restraining order, keeping her ex-husband, Ojani Noa, from banking off their brief marriage. Ojani was supposedly looking to release candid photographs and video from their time together, as well as a "mockumentary" about their relationship.

This injunction stops him from doing anything of the sort and when leaving the L.A. court room yesterday, Ojani spoke to the press waiting outside the court proclaiminG: "She is destroying my life."

SHAQ'S WIFE TAKES KIDS & FILES FOR SEPARATION

Shaquille O'Neil's wife, Shaunie, abruptly took the kids out their schools in Florida and flew to L.A. yesterday to file for a legal separation since it's much easier to get spousal support in California.

No specific reason for the split or the amount of money she's looking for has been revealed, but she has filed for spousal and child support along with the legal separation.

KATT WILLIAMS ARREST DETAILS

Comedian Katt Williams took to comedy at his bond hearing Monday, telling the judge he could have his $200,000 Bentley if it would get him out of jail quicker. The judge settled for a $41,150 bail for the comedian/actor/TV personality, charged with felony burglary and misdemeanor criminal trespassing.

Williams was arrested Sunday night after an employee at the home where the comedian was staying called 911 to report a "break-in" at a guesthouse located on the property. The caller said Kat stole jewelery and other personal items, authorities have not located the missing merchandise.

“This was a misunderstanding between me and two stupid detectives,” said Williams as he jail Monday night before departing in a van filled with friends and associates.

I pray the two incidents took place on separate occasions.

The video sounds like it is far from scandalous but Ms. Lopez is still worried about her new polished/poised image being tarnished.

MAC GOES LADY GAGA

Lady GaGa has been named along with Cyndi Lauper as the newest faces for the MAC AIDS Fund.

Gaga will be featured in the newest campaign called "From Our Lips" and is slated to launch February 25th. The two new products: Viva Glam GaGa Lipstick and Viva Glam Cyndi Lipstick hit shelves on March 18th in the US and 100% of the proceeds from the $14 lipsticks will be donated to the MAC AIDS Fund.

RIHANNA SPEAKS ON CHRIS BROWN INCIDENT

Rihanna will be featured in the upcoming Women of the Year Glamour magazine issue (Michelle Obama is on alternate cover) and it's nice to see that she is finally opening up about her domestic violence incident.

Glamour: Let’s talk about this past year—you’ve obviously been through some difficult things. How did the people around you help you cope?

Rihanna: My friends and family have been extremely supportive, and everyone has been there for me. But at some point you are there alone. It’s a lonely place to be—no one can understand. That’s when you get close to God.

Rihanna: It was humiliating; that is not a photo you would show to anybody. I felt completely taken advantage of. I felt like people were making it into a fun topic on the Internet, and it’s my life. I was disappointed, especially when I found out the photo was [supposedly leaked by] two women.

Elton John hospitalized with E. Coli

After having to cancel several concerts in the UK & Ireland due to influenza last month, it's now being reported that Sir Elton John has been diagnosed with a serious case of E. coli and is currently being treated at a London hospital for the bacterial infection.

His 3 upcoming concerts in Seattle and Portland with Billy Joel have been postponed for now.
